Amy Bailey provides a unique skillset that has inspired a new Trademark Practice Area under the Sivia Law Business Law umbrella. Bailey’s contract experience is exceptional as she has collaborated with general counsel, business managers, principal investigators and facilitated internal approvals for contracts from various university departments including the Institutional Review Board, Export Controls, Risk Management, and Conflict of Interest.
She has also reviewed contracts for compliance with applicable standards and laws, which included: OMB Circulars, Uniform Guidance, Federal Acquisition Regulation, Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act.
Bailey has previously handled numerous cases in civil court as an Associate Attorney with Ott Law Firm. Additionally, Bailey has experience in negotiating agreements with other parties to come to mutual agreement about disputed terms. She also attended hearings, argued motions in civil court, drafted pleadings and conducted discovery. Thus, Bailey expands Sivia’s service to our client and epitomizes a commitment to being responsive to client’s needs.
